Dear Nabila,

It, has been almost two weeks since school reopened and you have yet to report for school. I was wondering whether you and your family had shifted to another place.That was when Rosmah and Faziana dropped the bombshell. It is true that you are intending to quit school because of financial constraints?

I know your father was recently retrenched and your mother had to take on part-time jobs to make ends meet. But surely things cannot be so bad you that you have to stop school. Do your parent know about your decision? I am sure that the bad times your family is going through is only temporary. It is only a matter of time before your father will be able to find another job.

Why don't you come to school and discuss your problem with your teachers? I am sure your teachers would understand and be able to give you some good advice. They might even arrange for a scholarship or other financial aid, if they come to know of your problem. It may even be possible for you to attend school and take on part-time job in the evening as well.

I hope you will consider all the pros and cons before making a decision. A sound education will give you better job prospect and will open the door to many opportunities in life later on. Hope to hear from you soon.

Nonsense Story...

Assalamu'alaikum... =)

Hmmm,saya sepatutnya pergi sekolah hari ini sebab ada sekolah ganti, tapi disebabkan lewat bangun iaitu pukul 0730,so,terpaksa batalkan niat saya untuk ke sekolah, nasib baik ABC! Jadi kawanku Subuh, tidak la berkecil hati.. =)

Jadi saya memang dah rancang untuk mereka cerita merepek pada waktu pagi ni, mudah-mudahan ianya dapat membantu saya dan kawan-kawan lain, "because we love chemistry"!!!

The Benefit of Reading.

Good morning, boys and girls.

Can you imagine a world without books and other kinds of reading material? Today, we enjoy such as a wide array of reading material-books, magazines, newspapers, comics and others. Yet, we do not seem to make an attempt to read. In a recent survey to find out about the reading habits of our students we just discovered that a majority of students hardly read. What a shame! Obviously, students do not realize that pleasures and benefits of reading and that is why I am standing here front of you all-to tell you about the benefits of reading.

It has been said thet reading is exercise for the mind. This is because reading provides more input and stimulates the mind.

Today, there are millions of books and other reading materialdealing with different subjects on the market, which is read for information, knowledge and recreation. Perhaps the cheapest sourse of information in the newspaper, which is read by almost everyone to keep us with the latest developements in the world. Aside from this, there are various magazines and books on such topics as health care, economics, politics, and hobbies, which are not only informative and useful if a person wants to broaden his mind, but may provide entertainment as well. One can read just to keep up with the news, for self-improvement or just for relaxation.

Reading is good for one's creativity. This is because the reader has to imagine the scenes that are described in a story, unlike a person watching a film, where there is little left to the imagination. Studies have suggested that people who are read a lot are more creative than those who often watch movies or television. As such, one of the benefits of reading is that it encourages a person to use his imagination.

Moreover, reading also helps to enrich and improve a person's languange. There are certain words which are seldom use in spoken languange but which occur more often in writing. A person who read, comes across many such words and thus increases his vocabulary. When speaking,we often do not use complete or properly constructed sentences. In writing, only grammatical,well-constructed sentences should be used. Reading,therefore introduces a person to a wider vocabulary and correct grammer.

Reading is the best way to acquire knowledge and information,besides being a form of entertainment. Reading also helps unleash our creative powers. Last but not least, there is no better way of gainning a better command of a languange than through reading.

So, boys and girls, now that you know the benefits of reading, I'm sure that you will make an attempt to read.

:: Speed Writing of Essays ::

Assalamu'alaikum...

=) Tiada apa-apa saya mahu bilang cuma mahu melancarkan "Speed Writing of Essays" Why?? because I love to read essays because I hope and confident that its can help me to get more idea to write essay in exam. This ways I used for PMR 2008 and its proved that is effective! So, I will try to write the examples of essay from book Model Compositions publish by Oxford Fajar present by Kaq Aina.

Pagi tadi celik je mata saya seawal 5.00 pagi, buku ni terus saya gapai yang terletak sebelah bantal saya, sebenarnya saya nak baca pada malam tu sebelum tidur, tapi belum sempat say abaca, saya dah pun tidur =) ,itulah sebabnya! Jadi, apabila saya baca esei tu, saya rasa sangat seronok dan saya sangat berharap saya dapat menghasilkan esei yang matang dan bagus semasa dalam SPM nanti...amin.. =) Ketika itu juga, saya teringat akan pesan cikgu saya yang acap kali dia ungkapkan sebelum dia berucap, “pelajar-pelajar, sila keluarkan buku catatan anda!”.. walaupun kadang-kadang hanya pengunguman sahaja yang ingin disampaikannya. As a conclusion, apa yang kita dengar tu (lebih-lebih lagi perkara yang bermanfaat), wajib diambil catatan, supaya kita akan lebih ingat dan dapat manfaatlah.Alhamdulillah, ilham untuk menulis esei ini datang daripada pesan guru saya. Walaupun saya tiada laptop untuk menulis esei ini setiap hari, tapi saya akan cuba menulis “lima” esei dalam seminggu.

Saya harap ianya sangat membantu saya untuk memperbaik lagi esei saya dalam masa yang kritikal ni kerana berdasarkan result trial SPM yang lepas,semua result sederhana je,walaupun hampir-hampir nak gagal..dan komen daripada kakbi, "teruknya result budak sekolah kau" selepas saya menceritakan result trial padanya. Walauapapun, saya , kerana masih ada waktu lagi untuk meningkatkan usaha untuk mencapai kecemerlangan…
